New Single Moving Up Fast on Charts Jody Watley's latest single "Off The Hook" has been blowing up on all the Billboard charts since it's release on Feb 3. The single was a "Hot Shot Debut" at #38 on the Club/Dance charts for the beginning of February, becoming the highest debuting single for that week. It debuted at #33 on the R&B charts and is currently one of the most played new singles on R&B radio. The much anticipated remix featuing Rakim has also recently hit the airwaves. Other remixes include Masters at Work, Ken Lou and Soul Solution. Most of these mixes are geared towards Jody's dance followers. The song's popularity should continue to climb and it will likely become a top 40 favorite. No word yet on the next single release from the "Flower" album due out in March, but Atlantic Records plans on beefing up its promotion of Jody as well as the current single. Jody to Pose Nude for Playboy ? The latest scoop is that Jody Watley will pose nude for an upcoming issue of Playboy. According to a report from a popular TV entertainment magazine, Jody has decided to go ahead an reveal all. In the past Jody had been approached by Playboy and declined to pose completely nude, because she wanted to leave a little bit of mystery to the eye.
