Big Beat Records' Darren Higman Comments on Album Delay

Big Beat Records' General Manager Darren Higman writes: "To answer some of your questions, the release has been delayed for several reasons, but the foremost being that Atlantic Records believes this album to be a multi-platinum hit and thus needs to take the time to make sure all aspects of the marketing/promotion are set up properly. Records do not just become giant hits, there is alot of behind the scenes work to be done prior to release.

Secondly, Jody has now decided to call the album Flower, the title of one of the songs she did with Dwayne Wiggins. She briefly wanted to self-title the album but changed her mind, as is her perogative.

In response to the labels plans, you will see that there will be significant set-up prior to the album release as well as marketing/promotion after release in order to keep the album visible and selling.

By the way, Jody appreciates all of the support and is anxious to get back out there and do what she does best."
